Serious Games Institute is an operating division of Coventry University

Former Interns Testimonies:

"I have worked at the SGI for the past 2 years after graduating from university. I started as an intern and was offerd employment as a 3D modeler upon completion. I have gained invaluable experience with software which will help me continue my career as a 3d modeler. Not only have I improved my abilities as a modeler but have also been able to greatly expand my knowledge of the workflow between 3d applications and the game engine for creating in game assets. The research staff are very friendly approachable people with a variety of technical backgrounds who provide help and direction when needed. Also with other interns, PHD and Masters students around on a regular basis it is a great place to meet people with similar professional backgrounds. As I live locally in Coventry the SGI was the perfect place for me to start off my career in game development after finishing university, I hope the experience and skills I have learned at my time with the SGI will substantially help me in future positions within the game industry."

"Working at the Serious Games Institute was an amazing experience. I had great project leaders and colleagues that welcomed me on board from the start of my internship and helped and supported me throughout it. The internship was at some times challenging, but it mainly was a lot of fun and I found it very easy to find a job afterwards. Thank you"
