Code of Everand Evaluation

Case study: Code of Everand Evaluation

Code of Everand was a multiplayer game designed to support better road crossing behaviour with 11-15 year olds. The SGI Team worked with the game developers (Area/Code now Zynga) and the Department for Transport and Transport Research Laboratory to evaluate the efficacy of using a game intervention for supporting better road crossing. The evaluation found positive results. See: Dunwell et al., 2012 for full details of the evaluation which used qualitative and quantitative methods.

The Final Evaluation Report: Dunwell, I., Christmas, S & de Freitas, S. (2012). Code of Everand: Evaluation of the Game. London: Department of Transport can be downloaded from here
